I feel so dumb right now. How do you all get straight As?!? I have all Bs except in English. What can I do? My finals are in exactly 2 months. What should I do in this time to bring my grades up??
These are my grades:
AP Physics: 84%
AP US History 88%
AP Lang & Comp 93%
Honors Pre Calc 83%
Honors Spanish 4 85%

Please help I'm so stressed over these numbers.

CC is crazy. I don’t understand how some guys have a 99% in every class. Whatever.

Anyways. talk to your teacher, explain your situation, ask how you can improve/extra credit. See if you can do any retakes.

For example, in AP Gov I was getting an 89 (not that great) and I talked to the teacher. He bumped me up to a 91, and offered extra credit to bump me up to a 96. Pretty sure it’s not allowed, but whatever.

@Teyrkis ok. I will talk with all of them tomorrow. I’m just not a math/science person obviously and these classes are really stressing me out.

Making straight-A’s comes pretty much natural to some whom are very good at academics. (I’m pretty sure that I didn’t use the ‘whom’ right, but whatever. English isn’t my strong suit. xD) Some people are better at things than others, so don’t stress it.Some people can even make straight A’s in all of the AP classes, it just really depends.

I know. Grades will definitely be the weak point of my application. However, I’m looking at top schools (NYU being my first choice) so I need to have semi decent grades haha. I just am really aiming for all As. @tacoperson123

@jlh6612 not everyone on CC has straight-A’s! I’d argue that at least 15% of CC’ers exaggerate their grades. Like @tacoperson123 said, some people just naturally get +90s without putting in much effort.

Also, it’s not like your schedule is light and justifies straight As. Taking the rigorous courses that you are is just what colleges want to see, not necessarily a 100% in every class (although I will say that a 100 in every class wouldn’t exactly hurt :P).

As far as preparing for your finals in 2 months goes, I would try and put together a Question packet of past tests/quizzes from each class. For AP Physics B last year, looking over all the tests we’d taken throughout the year really helped. I would redo each question then compare it to the test answer. Also, make sure to
get some sort of review book for the APs if you haven’t already
