How to Check Admission Decision?

For UChicago, do applicants just login using the same username/password that they used to submit the application and check credentials to check whether they are accepted or rejected?

Also, what day does Chicago notify applicants of admission decisions?

You may also want to check out Seattle University. I know of students were were quite happy with their fine arts program.

Seattle University :: College of Arts and Sciences

..... What? idad, stay on topic please.

And I believe late March/early April is when the decisions come out. Yes, same userID and password.

For EA they were super vague about the date because I remeber getting pretty anxious around "mid December." They will e-mail you with a link to the uncommonapp. Make sure you have your password and username handy and good luck!

Hahaha that's so random

lol....I dont think that was on purpose, maybe he though he was writing somewhere else.

Yeah, you'll just log on to the UnCommon App and it will have a yellow "View your decision!" box at the top. It'll link you to a virtual version of your acceptance (or rejection) letter.

I actually found out decisions were posted when someone here was like "Hey, I just got into UChicago." They didn't give us a date until they were literally already online.

Somehow I not only posted that in the wrong thread, but in the wrong forum, a double senior moment!

My son was accepted EA this year. He received an email, from UChicago, subject - your online decision is available.

"Your early action admissions decision is now available. Please log into the online application to retrieve your decision. "

Below this they listed his login ID and password. I also believe they updated the uncommon blog to say decisions were to go out.
However, beware of the timing on this one. It said they would start sending out decisions at a certain time going from east to west coast and that all the emails/decision should all be received within an hour and a half. We live in the Eastern time zone and he did not receive his for 3 hours. However, he did not check the uncommon blog till after he got the email, so he wasn't sitting around worrying about it. That would be hard!
