thx

you will get an email around the end of this month that gives you the link to a site where they will post decisions on april 1st i believe.

okdk thanks

Also i know someone who got guaranteed transfer. Is that something Cornell does regularly or was it just a special case for my friend?

Thanks

they give out a few GT’s every year, but most people dont get it.

So are you saying that the password and ID used to check status is not the same as the one to check for decisions? Does anyone know when to check date and time?

i thought for months that 3/31 was the date. i cant believe i have to wait another day this is horrendous

I thought it was 3/31 at 5:00 PM for all the Ivies???

relax, i have no idea what the date is, i’m a current student so i haven’t been checking up every detail of admissions for this year. everything I said is what happened last year.

i think i remember hearing about all the ivies releasing their decisions on the same day.

I think the ivies have this new thing where they notify you if you’re highly likely/somewhat likely/not likely to get in…was that a voluntary thing or not? I haven’t gotten any Email communication from any of the ivies except some useless ones like asking me to come visit their campus and such.

Thx anyway

I think it’s 4/1. Harvard and some other Ivies have it on their website. But Columbia’s likely says 3/31. I didn’t get a Columbia likely, so I can’t confirm that that’s the day though.

[Penn Admissions: Penn’s Admissions Timetable](http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/applying/timetable.php)

looks like penn’s 4.1

All Ivies agree to release on or after March 31. So its up to the specific school if they want to release then or a day later. Everyones buggin out

The Ivies agree not to release decisions BEFORE a specific date - in previous years it was 3/31. However, they can release decisions AFTER that date & in the past Penn did it on April 1. Cornell’s letter this year (rolling/likely) says they can’t release decisions before April 1. Seems like Cornell is going with April 1

FYI - Brown is April 1st, as stated on their website.

Hm. I can’t wait!

there were likely letters last year too, and probably for many years before that too, its not a new thing
