How to check first semester grades on OPUS?

Well I am done with my first semester at Emory and had a lot of fun. I was wondering, how do we check our grades on OPUS (half my classes don't use BB)? Anyone know when they are posted, kind of anxious to see how I did.

My academics ------> view grades tab. This is the official place for grades. Most classes won’t use BB.

when will they be posted?

They will trickle in over the next week. It really just depends on when professors finish grading and post them.

Your grades can be found through OPUS under the Grades tab for the Fall 2009 semester. It might automatically load your classes for the Spring 2010 semester; if that’s the case, click the ‘Change Term’ button and then select Fall 2009. According to the Emory Registrar, all faculty members must submit grades to the Registrar by 10AM tomorrow, Friday, December 17, 2009. By tomorrow at 10AM, all grades are due to the Registrar so they have all been calculated and your professors could technically give you your grades. However, online grade entry on OPUS is not officially due until Tuesday, December 22, 2009. While most professors will post grades on OPUS as soon as they finish calculating them (by tomorrow at 10AM), some will not do it until over the weekend. You can expect them ALL to be posted on OPUS by 12AM on Wednesday, December 23rd at the LATEST.

is it just my computer, or did the opus layout change?? it’s turning my world upside down.

nevermind 10 char

My orgo lab grade is in, but that is it.

Hahaha I am so ***ed, I got an A- in a class because my final grade in the class was a 91.7, and the cutoff for an A was a 92? ROFL

^I do not like this whole plus/minus system. Sometimes it can help if you end up with a B plus instead of just B. Nevertheless, when you are dealing with A’s, I think A should be an A : -)

Seems like a lot of the private schools use the A, A-, B+ system and state schools use A, B, C.

93-100 A 4.0
92.99-90 A- 3.7 (State school 90 = 4.0 A)
89.99-87 B+ 3.3
86.99-83 B 3.0
82.99-80 B- 2.7 (State school 80 = 3.0 B)
79.99-77 C+ 2.3
76.99-73 C 2.0
72.99-70 C- 1.7 (State school 70 = 2.0 C)

OH NO! An A-!

I think it benefits you if you are in the B/B+ range, since the difference is .4 points. The A/A- range is only a difference of .3 points.

3/6 of my grades are posed. lulz, all A’s. But I’m just waiting for the B for Organic Chemistry.

Do they get posted at midnight of each day? Because my professor said grades were posted, but I didn’t see them until the next day. I don’t want to waste time in the future checking at the wrong times.

It might take 24 hours for them to process it.

2 grades are still not in.

I’m so impatient.

“You can expect them ALL to be posted on OPUS by 12AM on Wednesday, December 23rd at the LATEST.”

Does that mean the Tuesday/Wednesday night? As in… it should be up in less than 8 hours?

Hill quit stressin :)

I just want to know if I got an A- or an A for my favorite class.
