I saw somewhere that Emory needs the AP scores by July 15 (for Fall registration). Has Emory posted everyone's AP score transfer credit on opus yet? Although we have already received the scores in the mail, theyre not listed on my son's transfer credit page on opus. How does he know if they got them yet or if he needs to follow up on this?

They’re not listed on my page either. I was going to wait until I got my scores (which I haven’t yet ) before I followed up on it with Emory, because they made it seem at Wednesday’s webinar that the AP stuff should be there. But if you’re having the same issue, then maybe it’s not that way? I’m not sure.

What was the webinar on Wednesday? I am a parent so I don’t know much of what preorientation is going on and my son mentioned something about an upcoming webinar but nothing about a past one.

I did a search of CC’s Emory threads from last year and learned that Emory didn’t post the AP scores on OPUS until about August 13th. Guess my son will need to call them to make sure that they actually got his three years worth of scores.

[Emory College Orientation 2012: First Year Academic Requirements and Policies - YouTube](<a href=“Emory College Orientation 2012: First Year Academic Requirements and Policies - YouTube”>Emory College Orientation 2012: First Year Academic Requirements and Policies - YouTube) was this week’s webinar. The bit at 29:00 is what concerns me, how Mr. Savage says that the scores should be in and viewable by this point. He’s talking about how the scores need to be in by the end of our first semester, but the website does say that in order to be evaluated for credit by orientation they have to be in by July 15 as you said. ([AP, IB, and College Credit Policies | Emory College of Arts and Sciences Admission](Admission | Emory University | Atlanta GA)) I shot them an email about my situation and I’ll let you know if I hear anything because it sounds like you guys are in the same boat, if you haven’t already called and worked it all out. I too have three years’ worth of scores and hope to use them.

Oh, and this:
[Emory College Orientation 2012: Residence Life and Housing Webinar - YouTube](<a href=“Emory College Orientation 2012: Residence Life and Housing Webinar - YouTube”>Emory College Orientation 2012: Residence Life and Housing Webinar - YouTube) was the first webinar. Enjoy!

Mine doesn’t show up either…

Posting again here that my S’s AP scores are now posted! His AP posted is Eng 101, Expository Writing. Wish he would have taken more AP tests!

Nothing yet on my sons OPUS. I checked the transfer credit page and blackboard. He got his mailed AP report just last Friday so maybe they haven’t put them up yet or it is possible that, since he has potentially over the 24 credits allowed, they did not know which ones to use for credit???

Congrats on all of those AP Credits! The credits showed up on Opus, left side of page My Academics, listed on both Transfer and Course History. AP report received on Friday also, and showed scores sent to Emory directly. Good luck!

Opus still doesn’t list my son’s AP scores or credits. I am not sure how long to wait before pushing him to call the school.
