So in my country we have the following grades scale
* 10 or 95-100 = (excellent)
* 9 or 85-94 = (very good)
* 8 or 75-84 = (good)
* 7 or 65-74 = (almost good)
* 6 or 55-64 = (sufficient)
* 5 or 45-54 = (hardly sufficient)
* <4 or <44 = (insufficient/failed)

In secondary school (grades 7-12), any grade below 55 is considered a failing grade

how would you convert it to
A B C D and F grades?

A = Excellent

B = Above Average

C = Average

D = Near-Failing

F = Failing

Failing is pretty rare here “in the States”, or at least in my area. General grades fall in to the B to C range, while the elite students maintain the A to B range.

Or:

A=93-100

B=85-92

C=78-84

D=70-77

F>77

7 point and 10 point are the major scales. You should know though that colleges aren’t going to “convert” your grades.

My country does it differently… it’s best to ask your high school for conversion methods.

I know they won’t convert my grade
but they have asked me for the international supplement , in which I need to explain/conjecture how my grade scale will be in an ABC… scale
