So i got waitlisted by UCSD. I've been searching for infromation on how to appeal this decision, but i can't find anything on UCSDs website or on other sites. UCSD is my top by far, luckily i got into occidental so im not completely desperate, but occidental is still far behing UCSD for me. I'm appealing the fact that my senior GPA is 4.4, which is my best year by far, and I was named team captain of my track team. I also got a job at a microbio lab so I have experience in my major. Is that good enough to make a compelling appeal?

The new and compelling information must date back to before you submitted your application, which is sometime before November 30th. If I recall correctly, this means any new stuff you have done from after you applied till now does not count as new and compelling information.

Appeals are meant to mention stuff that you forgot to put on your app.
