How to get a single

Hey, is there anything in particular I need to ay to have a better chance of getting a single, or should I just check the box?

Check the box.

Do you do something loud and obnoxious which you can only do in your room? Something that if you had a roomate might drive him bat**** insane? Then put that in the considerations.

Me, I run lines and memorize for plays and crap in my room, so I'd feel sorry for whoever ended up my roomate.

If I were to say I neeed a single for religious reasons, do you think they would respect that?

You could try, but I heard in another thread that at least in roommate selection they do not consider things like religious affiliation, race, or ethnicity. But thats with pairing people. If, say, you needed it for praying at certain times unbothered, perhaps you could get the single. I can't guarantee that, though.

On my housing application I put that I have to watch people do their private religious things that they would want a single for.

And Andrew, stop trying to give advice when you dont even know. >:0
I will pummel you in september.

Silly Jackie, you must realize I talk to kids who graduated from my school who are now at this school =P. Plus I've scanned alot of the older messages on this forum on stuff like this.

Big fleshy deal, your prior school mates no nothing, these people in threads no nothing.

I want some nice hard facts that I could stick in my mouth if i wanted to. mmmm

i was wondering, cuz i want a requested roommate, but then i also want a single. liek if i dont ge tthe single then i'd rather request the roommate. woudl they think it would bea n oxymoron if i checked single room but still listed a person?

yes, andrew. they would think you were an idiot and would pull your admission out from under you (thus causing you to fall and get a fatal head injury). =]

fatalityyyy

in a way. but not the good way. =[
