The teachers who will write recs for me prefer sending them over mail. As such, I will need to download the teacher evaluation form from the Common App website and print it out. Some schools require that your Common App ID number appear printed onto it. How do you do this? For example, Stanford suggested logging in, then downloading forms while still logged in. Then I click back to the home page, while still logged in, to try to go to the download forms page. However, as soon as I navigate away to the home page, I am automatically logged out. How do I get the Common App number onto the forms? (in this case the teacher evaluation form, but all other school forms as well). Has anyone succeeded in this?

Your help is appreciated. This has been confusing a lot of people at my school as well.

Hmm I couldn’t figure it out…It has to be printed on? You couldn’t like write it with pen or something?

Maybe you could contact the Common App people?

When you logged to your account, go to the school forms option. You will have to select your recommenders first, but because they will do paper recommendation, do not give their e-mail address. You will be able to print the hard copies of the LOR form from there with the common app id printed on it.

^Ah, that would explain why I couldn’t figure it out since I put email addresses for all of them

To print the LOR forms do I return to the Common App homepage? There does not seem to be a link to any forms while I am on the Common App interface when logged in. The only place where I can download it is the homepage, but it logs me out upon clicking the home page.

Thanks for the help. I did not list an email address, and next to my teachers it says “Offline provider” but could you tell me where to click to link to the forms? My teacher’s name now appears as a link, but clicking it does not take me to the forms page.

First add teachers as you recommenders, if you didn’t do so. There is an ‘Add Recommendation’ button at the bottom of the page. You will see a link to ‘Teacher Evaluation Form’ after that.

keylimepie–Thanks so much! I believe the “Add Recommendation” form just adds another slot to your recommendation place. But after I did that and put in my teacher’s names and I saved it, the teacher evaluation form came up. Thanks for the help!!
