Stanford wants the Common App ID number to be on downloaded forms but...

The Common App says this:

The Common App ID will not appear on paper forms retrieved from the "Downloadable Forms" section of the Common App website.

What did everyone do?

Fill out the entire form online and then preview it. You should see you Common App number at the bottom of each page. If possible you should try to submit your forms online, not on paper.

QuasiProfound–if you want the common app ID number on your teacher rec forms, first go to the school forms page while you are logged into your account. Sign the waiver and submit it. Then it will let you invite school officials to provide recommendations and such. If your teachers/counselors are using PAPER forms, then DO NOT type in an email address. If you don’t type in the email address, then the website will recognize that they are sending in paper recommendations.

Then, when you select a school on the school forms page, it will let you choose which teachers/counselors you want to use for the recommendation. When you select your teacher, and then press “save,” then you will recieve a link to the Teacher Evaluation form.

Man, too bad you couldn’t have gotten that advice to Quasi a year ago when she was still in high school. Maybe then she wouldn’t have ended up at Smith.
