This senior year I feel very lonely. I have some friends but I don't have that much homework, and now that I'm close to colleges' acceptance, I don't feel like doing anything besides applying to scholarships. None of that takes a lot of time. I really don't know what else there is to do to escape the feeling of loneliness... CC community, help?

Take more AP’s next semester. I have no friends whatsoever and that’s what I’m doing. I only wish I would have taken more AP’s this semester (I should have taken AP European History instead of Computer Sci.)

It’s ironic, because I used to love the holiday season. Now I think it’s just a conspiracy to get us to buy stuff. Still, it’s emotionally taxing on those of us with no social lives. T_T kingcat, I feel your pain.

Try and make more friends, hang out with cousins or something (if you have any), do volunteer work…

Go to all of the senior events that your school offers (if they even offer any :p).

That’s what I would do anyways. :)

Get a part time job. Working with people who aren’t going to college will help you appreciate your opportunities. Also you will need the money for college.
