I’m a high school freshman and I’m honestly ready to graduate already. It’s painful and bad and I know it’s necessary. How do I get through the next 3 1/2 years of my life?
You need to be more specific. You could need help managing depression or you might need to revamp your schedule to something more manageable and/or interesting to you. It’s difficult to tell without more details. Is there a guidance counselor in your school who could talk things over with you and point you in the right direction? Or you can share more details here, since there is a lot of folks here who have seen it all when it pertains to high school.
You have one post saying you will be switching to an online school next year and another saying you might skip a grade in HS. What is your plan to move forward? Have you tried to seek out help/support either in your current school or privately?
What is it that you don’t like about school?
currently we’re deciding which is better: if I stay in my current school and skip a grade, switch to a different school or start online school. i needed info on each to make a decision. i talk to my friends about my issues and will likely be starting therapy in the new year.
I think starting therapy sounds like an excellent idea. It can be very helpful to talk things through with a professional.
Things get better I know it’s hard, but it will lead to amazing things.
