Hey everyone,
I'm currently filling out transfer applications and a couple of them have the option of sending a recommendation from a friend, basically like dartmouth's peer evaluation. However, not all of them have this option, and I was thinking about having this additional recommendation sent to all this schools. I mean, the work will already have been done by the recommender, so why not send it to all the schools? Do most schools accept additional recommendations? Should I just have it sent like any other recommendation? Thanks

anyone know?

My friend wrote me an EXCELLENT peer evaluation for Wake Forest, so I asked her to send it along to Penn and American for me.

Granted, now she can't remember if she changed, "Wake Forest Scholarship Committee" at the top of the letter when she sent them to the other schools but...yea.

Most schools accept and read extra recommendations, but some (large state schools) discourage or prohibit it.

alright, i guess i'll just contact each school and ask if its ok. thanks for the replies guys.
