How to Kick Junior Burnout

Have any of you guys experienced Junior Burnout? Where you're in the middle of your junior year and suddenly you just don't care about, well, ANYTHING? How do YOU guys kick that Junior Burnout?

Lol too late for that now. For me anyway.

This is going to sound really cheesy, but just think of what you want to accomplish in the future (ie get into your dream college, become a doctor, etc) and remind yourself that to achieve those dreams you’re going to have to work hard – not to mention that summer vacation’s right around the corner and you only have to work hard for a couple more weeks :)

lmao, sophomore burnout?
I’m in all junior/senior classes, plus APs, so I’ve been playing starcraft all day during school
no homework, at home I sleep and play runescape and eat
except for English…grr huge project due tuesday

I feel ya. I’ve had senioritis since the middle of freshmen year. So I don’t really have a solution; I basically just go with it and do exactly what I feel like doing: nothing. It’s finals week, I had a term paper due yesterday that I haven’t written, and I’ve spent all of my time watching Lost and just chilling. I basically do enough work to get by when I’m in one of those phases and that’s it.

lol I had it for a while too. I would say you go out and do something that you want to do and relax, like watch a movie or go out and chill. After that, go back to what ever you were trying to get done. It satisfies your urge to do nothing in small doses. At least it works for me…

I don’t know if this is possible, but my suggestion is to take a week long vacation somewhere doing something you like to do. That’s what I did during spring break, and it helped immensely. It was pretty bad before that too, because some of my grades just plummeted…

You quit complaining and start thanking god you’re not a senior yet.

Junior year’s almost ending for me and i don’t even know how to deal with junior burnout.

lol, I did absolutely nothing the past two months in school and I think I only screwed myself gradewise in 3 classes. And doing nothing helped me get a 100 on the history final we took early, go figure.
