<p>I just updated our FAFSA now that 2010 taxes are done and filed. I've looked here, on the FAFSA help site and on the college FA pages, but can't figure out how to let the colleges know that the FAFSA has been ammended.</p>

<p>You should have changed from Will File to Taxes Completed, made your corrections and then resubmitted. If you didn’t modify your list of schools for some reason, your finalized FAFSA will be sent to those schools.</p>

<p>If you have filed electronically, it is highly recommended that you wait a couple weeks until you can access the IRS link when you update your FAFSA to “already filed.” When it is available for you, you can have the IRS dump the info from your return directly to FAFSA.</p>
