<p>Hello, I'm currently a sophomore in college majoring in health care administration. I'm applying to hospitals in hopes to be able to get a spot to volunteer in my respective field. Although, the problem is I don't have any E.C. that's worth mentioning. During high school, I was ignorant and didn't take part in much community service or took advantage of any internship programs because I wasn't sure what I wanted to major in. Now that I know what I want to do I have no idea how to make my application appealing. Also, what other volunteer jobs could I be a part of that would help the health care administration field. Would working at the front desk greeting patients, guiding them count, and give health information count towards that field? (Information Desk, Health Information)</p>
<p>What else can I do to build experience in this field besides volunteering at hospitals? I'm in dire need of help and advice. I'm feeling very desperate right now and that I'm very behind. I've decided to pursue this career and I'm willing to do anything to reach that goal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!</p>
