how to pay for housing payments

i saw on the housing websites that housing payments are not to be made from the zot billing system. i am just wondering how would i use my financial aid to pay for the housing payments. any help from existing uci students are appreciated

i had the same question. i called the financial place and they said the gift aid can only be paid automatically to the tuition and the leftover (the aid from paying your tuition) will be disimbursed to you by checks (i think ..) and you use that to pay your housing directly.

i pay housing every quarter by bringing them a check at the housing cashier on the 3rd floor of the student center. lol.

You can make your housing payments by dropping it off at the housing office (at the student center) or mailing it there to a specified address.

yeah so i am wondering how the financial aid turns into a check. do you request it in the zot account or do they automatically send you a check

for financial aid, if you get enough, it'll automatically pay for your tuition. but you have to pay for housing yourself. financial aid will either do a direct deposit into your account or mail you a check so you can pay the housing cashier yourself. as far as i know, there is no way financial aid can directly pay housing for you.
