<p>What kind of information do I need to prepare before I talk to my academic advisor?</p>
<p>I know my major, do I need to look at the G.E. classes and figure out what I want to take beforehand?</p>
<p>Looking at the classes won’t hurt, but you don’t have to be absolutely sure of what you want to take, either. I just had my appointment yesterday, and my advisor was super nice and helpful, with a lot of great suggestions and ideas. Be sure to write down any questions you have so you don’t forget! Another thing- the day before your session you’ll be sent some additional information, like a general 4-year plan, and a basic schedule with the classes you’re required to take, etc. Take a look at those documents, and I’m sure you’ll be fine! :)</p>
