I'm planning on taking the subject tests for US History, Literature, and Math II. Would I be prepared for those tests since I'm currently taking APUSH, AP Lang, and Honors Precal in school? Do I need any extra practice like test prep books?

Also, do the Physics/Bio/Chem subject tests require AP Bio/Chem/Physics classes in order to do well on them? I haven't taken any AP science courses (a decision I now regret), but I am taking Honors Physics and doing well in it; also, the subject matter interests me. Would it be worth it to self-study for the Physics subject test?

I actually just took the US History, Lit, and Math II Subject Tests and took the same high school courses as you. APUSH is more than sufficient preparation for the subject test; I would recommend taking a few of the online practice tests available through Sparknotes to see what topics you need to brush up on, because the test is pretty predictable. I felt that Lit was the easiest, but I did absolutely no preparation for it; English just happens to be my strongest subject, but if that’s not the case for you, you may want to brush up on literary devices and take a few practice tests. Math II should be pretty easy so long as you’re familiar with Trig, and the curve is generous enough that whatever you don’t know shouldn’t hurt you too badly if you omit a few questions.
