I'm in Pre-IB (9th Grade) at this point and find myself super stressed sometimes (Read : Most of the times).

How do students basically deal with stress like this ?

(Dropping the classes IS NOT an option :( )

BETTER TIME MANAGEMENT

if you can't handle it in 9th grade, you're gonna tank when you hit 11th grade. dont do everything at the last minute. if you cram, you end up with tons of work over a short period of time, and you get stresses.

there's some ppl at school i know w/ white hair coz they cram.

also, take breather every once in a while. if you're studying and it just won't go in...STOP.

go outside. play. exercise. whatever.

afterwards, go back to HW. it drastically improves efficiency.

Granted, I've never taken IB, but I have taken AP classes (and plenty of them).

Plan everything out. Don't leave anything major until the night before- you might be able to do it the night before and still get a good grade (a friend of mine is living proof) but you'll wind up freaked out and sleep deprived. Also, do homework whenever you have free time in school- heck, you could even get a little bit done at lunch if you're done eating.

Also, get plenty of sleep. A friend of mine took all AP classes one year and also a 0 Mod (an extra class before homeroom) and wound up getting sick a lot and passing out in gym.

Hope this helps- I'm sure some other people on here will have some tips as well.

Seriously, White hair ? No matter how much I plan it seems there are some days that it all comes down on you. Thanks Guys.
