How to study in the U.S.A college

Hello,
I'm a freshman in Taiwan
I want to study the college in the USA.
Except for preparing SAT, and what else should I do and care ?

And I also want to ask how to prepare SAT?

What to do:

 1. Know why you want to study in the US.
 2. Consider your financial needs. Can you afford to go to college in the US (travel costs alone will be expensive)? Most schools aren’t need-blind for international students and it may be hard to get a sufficient financial aid package.
 3. Know all of the requirements for the schools that you’re applying to. This includes deadlines, essays, recommendations, supplements, tests (you’ll most likely have to take the SAT or ACT, the TOEFL or IELTS, and maybe SAT subject tests), fees, and all that good stuff.

For studying for standardized tests, I suggest you go to the SAT/ACT section. There is plenty of advice and tips there.

First,thank you for your advice.
The reason why I want to study abroad is I want to broaden my horizon, not just a self-centered student.
SO I’ll considered it seriously.
You really do me a favor, thanks again!!
