If you can’t afford college here without a scholarship, study in your home country. Don’t come here to a community college and then have to go home because you have run out of money. You will be wasting time that could have been used to get a degree in your country.

Every year some international students do get admitted as transfer students and do get big scholarships - not many, but some. In order to have a chance at a scholarship, you will need to have nearly perfect grades at the community college, good extracurricular activities, and excellent letters of recommendation from your professors.
