I know Adcoms usually have a recent undergraduate who graduated on the committee. I was wondering if anyone has any details on what the job entails and how/where to apply to be on the Cornell Arts and Sciences Adcom?

To be competitive for the job, I’m pretty sure that people working at the undergrad admissions office have to already know who you are and of your accomplishments. It’s also a job that’s on the verge of being volunteer work…meager pay, crazy hours…you are ALWAYS on the job reading applications from your laptop, phone, desktop, whenever you have free time.

If you really are interested in it, you can always apply for a position at lower-ranked schools, gain some adcom experience and work your way up
