We all know that transfer essays are completely different from freshman essays. why? because of the REASON. If you have any tips on how to write a successful transfer essay without having any negative views, please post them here!

i want to know too bump

The transfer essays I read of applicants who got into Yale and Harvard aren't creative at all. They're explanatory. so my question is: How creative can we get? The last thing I want is to annoy admissions officers who are looking for a straightforward essay.

im actually trying to be creative a little, but more in the sense that im trying to let them hear my voice, and thus hear my burning desire to go to the university that im applying to. i think that they want to see someone who REALLY wants to go, yet at the same time, will deliver the answer to the question asked.

'Tisthetruth, where did you get the Yale and Harvard essays that you read?

what is the REASON for transfer--thats the biggest problem.

let's say you go to a great school, but u want to transfer to harvard...wHY???
prestige, DUH

but u have to have a reason to tell them!!!!

the college is pretty?
totally joking...i plan on writing how certain aspects about their program fit me as a person better, and how i think i'll get a more well-rounded education, yet at the same time, be able to contribute to the university and to fellow students

Hey could you please tell me how can I get to read a few essays from admitted transfer students at Harvard and Yale?
