How tough is it to get into CAS? and how is the Journalism Dept?

<p>Is it the easiest school at NYU to get into? Does anyone know what kind of stats they are looking for? Would a 3.3 UW with awesome ACT scores make it? Also, how does NYU's journalism dept rank with others?</p>

<p>My school has a tough cirriculum compared to most of the schools in my area...also no its in TN</p>

<p>It really depends on your all around application. not just numbers. I didn't have stellar grades but I had a good ACT score, went to a difficult school, and was very involved. (I'm a journalism major!) It don't think it's too difficult at all.. worst comes to worse you might get gsped but that's not bad.
oh a tip for those applying for journalism.. you are required to double major. you have to.. it's not a choice. Keep that in mind.
