I have been accepted at OSU. So I am wondering how hard is the engineering university (as in the studies and all assignments)? Is it really hard to survive in there or is it easy?

Engineering is arguably one of the most difficult fields, and it depends on the specific major. The consensus usually is the Electrical is the hardest (most math) and Systems is the ‘easiest’, because it involves a lot of business type stuff and comparatively less math.

However, anyone can do engineering if they actually work toward it. The difficult thing about Engineering is that it takes a lot of homework and studying, but if you want to do it is very attainable. The fact that you were accepted means that Ohio State believes that you have to potential to be a great Engineer, but it’s up to you to put in the work.

Another thing to consider, it is easier to transfer out of Engineering than in to Engineering, and the easiest way out is never rewarding.
