how tough is...........

the pharmacy program? how hard is it to get into? anyone here got accepted? if u don't mind please can u post the stats? how hard is it for OOS? sry i have a lot of questions :</p>

i'm wondering the same for the school of nursing... i tried looking through the NEU website, but i couldn't find anything =T

i'm an entering freshman next year. i originally applied and got accepted (regular) into the college of arts and sciences, major: biology. i then applied to transfer into the bouve college of health sciences, major: pharmacy and i was approved within a few days! :) this was a few weeks ago.

however, i am sure that competition is fierce. in fact, they had to close transfer apps into bouve simply because they don't have enough space. that includes kids from other schools AND northeastern too. but if you know you want to do pharmacy, getting in from the start is the best. you're in the same boat as everyone else in the pharm program. i know it is easier to switch FROM bouve TO arts/sciences than the other way around. bouve has a decent waiting list of kids who want to get into the pharm program and if you can get in from the start, you should be solid. thus, do it now!

(I am not sure of what the class size is for pharmacy alone. I approximate that incoming freshman range between 100-150 kids. It is definitely small and selective since Northeastern is one of 2 pharmacy schools in all of Mass)

holy crap 100-150 kids?.................................im from nj...............this college thing is frustrating

I believe the Bouve office told us there were 110 entering freshmen in the NU pharmacy class this past fall.

futuredreamer, do you know if you're coming to Northeastern for sure?

im not really sure since im looking around for school that have pharmacy programs and the ones i might be able to attend..... if im accepted but im really not to sure about it still, although i would like to know more :p
