How Uconn recalculates High school GPA...

As the title says, how does Uconn recalculate your high school GPA when applying from high school. For example, Umass says that they recalculate your high school GPA by counting AP classes a 2 credits instead of 1.5 , so if you have a B in AP Physics, my high school would count it like a B+/A- (3.5 instead of 3 (out of 4)), while Umass would count it as an A, or 4. This would actually increase my GPA.

What does uconn do?
Thanks.

Your “core classes” are all weighted equally, and admissions will look primarily at these core course grades rather than your overall GPA. Of course, your overall GPA is taken into account.
