How was AP Physics C?

hopefully got a 3 on Mechanics.

E&M...it tore my heart out. I cant even tell if I conjugated tear correctly anymore. Argh. What murder. Then again, Mech was aight. Predictions: 4,...2-3

With the exception of the first part on the last Mech one (which I'm pretty sure I got right, but it was more with a longwinded explanation than actual math), I thought those Free Response were three of the easiest I've seen and we've been doing AP Problems for a while.

well, i think i failed it.
i didn't even get to finish my MC for mechanics(a lot more than 10 blank!!!!) and for the FR, i BSed my way through all of them. oh well. right noww i HOPE HOPE HOPE i juss passsssssss.... with a 3. not hoping for much. what a waste of $82.

oh yea btw, i juss took mechanics not the E&M or whatever.

for the first free response, was the 3rd and 4th part just straight kinematics? (on mech)

Mechanics was easier than E&M, but both were 5's

Finished both multiple choice sets with about a minute left. Was getting nervous at the end.

i think i did well on the mech. mc, but i missed big part of one fr question (last one).

for e&m i messed myself up on mc with bad pacing. fr was ok.

i understand that most people hate taking exams like these, but did anybody find the problems fairly amusing or kind of interesting? everytime i take a test like this i'm reminded of how much i like the subject material.

Predictions on Grades

E & M: 1 (MC and FR raped me up the butt)
Mechanics: 3? (completely Messed up on #2 FR)

Mech. : Overall not terrible, skipped 5 MCs, answered every part on the FR
E&M. : completely screwed the pooch, MC wasn't bad but FR was kinda hard, I thought, Oh well heres to hoping for a generous curve

MECH was good.

What's the usual cutoff for E&M? I predict a raw score of 26-27 on the M.C. and I got all but two sections on the FR...will that be a 5?

Mechanics was easy, but I screwed up on the multiple choice. When the proctor called time I already knew I had two questions wrong, and that's usually bad news because I probably made careless mistakes on quite a few more. The free response was easy...deceptively easy. They gave us so much space on the last two parts of Mech 1, but I only had about one line of calculations. I wonder if I did that right, hmmm...we can talk about it in 48 hours. I think I aced Mech 2 and 3 though. I'm really worried about this one because the FRQ was so easy so the cutoff for a 5 is probably going to be really high (maybe around 60/90?).

E&M was very difficult, but I managed to solve all the multiple choice and all the free-response except for one section of E&M2. This FRQ section seemed considerably more difficult than ones in recent years, and the cutoff in the past has been around 50-60%. I'm confident that I got a 5 on this one.

i thought e&m mc was fairly easy but fr freakin killed me. i know i got most of question 1 right but not sure about the other 2

Mechanics was alright, but E&M was the hardest test I've ever taken. By far. Guess 5 hours of instruction really doesnt help too much.

As stated many many times before...
Mech was tolerable--I think I managed a 5 there--but E&M was TERRRIBLE. I spent more time staring at the equation sheet than actually solving the problems.

Predicted scores: Mech 5, E&M 3

Damn, I can't believe how many people are saying EM was relaly hard, I think I definitely got a 5 on it. The cutoff is generally around 45-50/90 for a 5 (for those who asked).

I guess a double period of physics everyday for the past year paid off for me, haha. We did problems 10x harder than any onthat test in class, so I'm sure that helped on that test.

pretty much bombed the entire test (mech only). left 9+ blank on MC, unsure about all the FR's...sounds like a 2...

i love how u guys say "OMG i bombed it, i left 5 blank, and for sure got 1/2 of one FR wrong"...u guys know that leaving 5 blank, and getting 1/2 of one FR wrong is still a 5?

We might not leave much blank, but that doesn't mean we answered correctly EVERYTHING else.

i got raped brutally on the e&m. my graphs were wrong, and i had no clue what the equations even were. probably because i had no sleep the night before trying to study..

good lord, ill be thankful and go to church if i get a 50%
