How was AP Physics C?

i got raped brutally on the e&m. my graphs were wrong, and i had no clue what the equations even were. probably because i had no sleep the night before trying to study..

good lord, ill be thankful and go to church if i get a 50%

how come everybody thought frqs..2 was hard
that was INSANELY easy

number 1 was INSANELY HARD
I THINK I GOT 0% ON NUMBER 1

NUMBER 1 FRQ WAS IMPOSSIBLE

VERY TRICKY.. I DON'T THINK I GOT ANY PART RIGHT

2 was ULTRA EASY.. OMG.. I TOTALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND.. AND I'M REALLY BAD AT PHYSICS..

3 was ultra easy, what are you talking about?

3 was easy too but not as easy as #2

but #1 was impossible

Probably because I didn't go to #2 until the end, ran out of time, only did half of it! DOH!

why is it out of 90? Anyway, so that means the cutoff is like 50-60% correct for a 5?

45/90 E&M
4990 Mech

That was indeed last year's cutoff, but my physics teacher told us that he thought last year's curve was significantly larger then previous years.

what do you mean by larger

in other words..

this year - it is easier to get 5 or last year it is easier to get 5?

sorry, to clarify, last years scores were very low....hence a bigger then normal curve.

the test was ok, but it was quite different from the previous years' tests that I practiced in class... for mech, there was def a ton of emphasis on rotation.

overall, the mech test was really easy mc and frq, too bad i couldn't focus on the test cuz i was so tired, then ran out of time on frq and didnt chek any of my work. I answered all of the mc, and for frq, i got wrong answer for two parts of #1 although i had most of the right equations, just wrong values plugged in. #2 was ridiculously easy, and #3 was pretty simple too (the answers simplified pretty nicely).

E&M was harder according to the other ppl in my class, but i think i did much better on the E&M part cuz i was actually awake after the first half... Answered all of the MC again (there were some tricky ones in there... i think i got them all tho), and i beasted the frq (wow, I was surprised when they actually asked you to solve the equation in number 2, cuz they normally say write, but dont solve; but it was pretty straighforward so it wasn't that bad).

i predict a 5 and a 5; but then again, physics is my kind of subject =P

as for the curving scales, mech will probably have less of a scale than last year, but E&M will probably have more of a scale. (they have separate scales for each one rite?)

yeah, separate scales...I'm hoping for a good scale...I NEED A 555555555555555555555555555555555555555... well..a FIVE...~_~

I didn't get to check any of my answers for MC...

both parts were really easy.

then again, i do physics problems in my spare time

Didn't you make USAPhO, iostream? I do agree it was easy though.

Hey, I have such a borderline grade ;x I'm not sure if I got a 4 or a 5. Anyone know the average cruve for a 5? I'm pretty scared right now; I made sooo many stupid mistakes and took too long on MC =/

for mech
a 5 is like 55-90
4 probably 43-55

Ohh thanks... jeez I got in 52-61 range... guess I'll have to wait ;[

Mechanics:
I answered 33 of 35 multiple choice questions and probably got somewhere around 36-40/45 on the free response (although that number is probably low because I got the last 2 completely right). It was almost too easy.

EnM:
I answered 34 of 35 multiple choice questions, and I realize now that I should have left more blank because many of them were WRONG. I got the EnM 1 completely right, the EnM 2 mostly wrong, and probably got 8 or 9 for the EnM 3. Yeah, it kicked my ass. I hope I get a 5 because I don't want to retake the course. That would suck.
