I live in Northern Cali. and I was wondering how is the weather at UCR right now.. like 90+ or 70s/80s?

90+ it’s hot!

yep 90+
I recommend bringing some water bottles and sunglasses

This week has been in the high 90s. Today was actually 100, and tomorrow it’s supposed to be 101…

well thank god I went to the first orientation. It really has been getting hotter in the last few weeks

twilightgirl, make sure you pack a lot of skirts, shorts, and capri’s for the fall. You are quite likely to have very warm temps till Dec. September and Oct are usually very warm months in Riverside, add hot, dry, Santa Ana winds (in the fall) and you’ll be surprised by the difference between N.Cal and SCal.

Well, hot and dry is better than hot and humid.

I spent a few months at Stanford a few years ago and it was humid like never before, and hot - comparable to Riverside

this is inland Norcal

jecklo23… don’t call me ■■■■■!

it was too hot.

I saw some girls wearing uggs during orientation. I was like w t f, seriously? -.-

Don’t wear layers of layers of clothing. Bring water or juice from home. You can put it in the microfridge and go back to it later. You might be thirsty at night and at the end of orientation of day 2.

It is REALLY REALLY hot though. To be more specific simply type in “riverside weather” in google. lol.

we have to bring our own drinks? they dont provide any? that must suck lol

Well… before orientation they have muffins, juice, water, and coffee… Then you wait until lunch… then dinner… then you are on your own. D: There are vending machines thouhg. I took a bottle of juice in the morning and put it in my bag. LOLOL. Then I put it in the fridge and drank it at night. I also brought my own water since I’m very picky about the water I drink. lolol

lol kk thanks for the info, ill have to take some gatorade then lol.

they do have water station through out orientation. one in UNLH another outside Lothian. One in the lecture hall in Bourns.
