How well educated are admission committee members?

<p>Oftentimes, adcom members are alums of the school they work for. Some from top schools bump around from top school to the next. Yes, I imagine there are def HYPS grads among some admissions offices, esp. in HYPS and HYPS-like schools…not so much community college level admissions.</p>

<p>they are HYPS grads. my CC counselor was on the adcoms a few years ago, she graduated from harvard.</p>
