If I take my senior year at Santa Barbara City College, instead of at my high school....

I'd be careful. More selective colleges and universities tend to have different policies towards the credit earned. Some do not accept the credit for transfer, so you'd have to contact the colleges you are interested in first. In Washington state, many of my friends who went private had issues, while those friends who went to public colleges were better off by far.

That being said, if you are attending for your own good because you have outgrown or need more options than your HS provides then do it.

i am, there is nothing left at my high school, i just feel i cant learn anything here anymore

Then go for it. That's an awesome reason. Just don't get frustrated by the admissions process. You'll get different answers depending on who you talk to within the same admissions office. Just keep a log with the persons name and what you discussed, so that on subsequent occassions, you can refer to who said what when. My friends and I had to do that to keep our private school choices straight. It was a pain, but worth it.

Good luck.

great thanks a lot.

Would your classes show up on your high school transcript? So that you're still technically a "high school student"? Or are you enrolling in the college independently? If it's independent, you may then need to apply to colleges as a transfer student rather than a first year student. Check out the process before deciding.
