How would UCB/LA see my situation?

I wanted to major in history since I was a freshman in high school and recently I change my major to philosophy because i wanted to try something new. Now I'm pretty sick of philosophy and now want to change my major back to history. However, I am planning on transferring this year and I'm not sure how UCB and UCLA will evaluate my application.

As you can see, I am a one year transfer. Will that hurt my chances of getting in. Will my low AP scores be held against me? Will the Bs I got in college during my high school hurt me? Will all the philosophy classes I am taking right now instead of history classes have a negative impact on me during admissions?

okay. so. yes, i think the fact that youre taking all phil classes this sem will REALLY hurt your chances at berk/la cuz that means that you have barely any pre reqs for hist. im a hist major too. yeah its fine and dandy that you SAY youre going to do those other hist pre reqs but you and berk/la both have no way of knowing for sure that you will. also, i know that berk/la are both REALLY anal about transfer students having their pre reqs done.
the way i see it you have several options:

 1. stay another year and spread those damn hist pre reqs out so you actually LEARN something and apply next year when you have them done. its insane to take 6 history classes at one time. i love history too and i would never do it out of repect for the subject.
 2. apply as phil, get in, and switch your major to history. it really depends on the school but i think ive heard of it being done in berk.
 3. apply as history and most likely get rejected.

and your AP scores arent low, theyre passing! they will deffs not be held against you.
