Can someone please rank these CSUs and UCs in order of best to worst?
Can you also rank these CSUs and UCs in order by which is the best to worst for their Biological Sciences Program
Here are the Universities
SDSU, UCR, UCSD, SFSU, UCSC, SJSU, UCM, CSUB, and UCD

Some may pick SDSU over UCM.

Agree with the poster above, I would post sdsu over Merced and sfsu over sjsu just because of the career possibilities in San Francisco that are more open to you.

I really thought SDSU would be over UCR and maybe even UCSC

@Jatt2015‌, I would have to agree with you. SDSU has a little known program that gets their students into med school through the biological sciences disciplines.

Best to worst based on what? They are all fine schools. Biology BAs are a dime a dozen and how they fare is based far more on how they do then where their BA is from. You can get into med school or grad school from any of them. The difference is really in the experience, and the price. They are all prestigious enough to get you wherever you want to go.

Well my question is which one will look better on Paper? And I did not apply for a BA in Biology I applied for a BS

I agree with @qialah‌: All schools have good Bio programs. Ranking them as above is more on selectivity than overall program. Depending upon what you plan to do with your degree (Med School, PA, Dental, Grad school etc…), you should attend the most affordable school where you can get the best GPA.

BA or BS in bio…doesn’t matter. Job prospects aren’t great either way. What do you plan on doing with it?

If you want to get into med school, you have to do better grade wise…and do a lot better testing wise.
