<p>I am applying to Uva for Electical (or electronics engineer) . How good is the engineering program there. Or should I transfer somehwere after my first year ?</p>
<p>UVA isn't known for engineering, but it is respected nonetheless, so you shouldn't have to transfer.</p>
<p>the engg program over there i pretty good .my cousin got a fellowship over there and did pretty well. he went on to work in hewlettpackard , that was years ago though</p>
