I just received the Legacy scholarship from Howard, making it jump in my college decision choice making. I visited but did not actually explore the surrounding the DC area, so I was wondering if anyone could give me pros and cons on Howard U and the Dc area close to it.</p>

<p>If by any chance you do not mind poor academics, an area teeming with crime and an unorganized “red tape” administration then by all means go to HOWARD!</p>
