How're you getting in shape this summer?

Preseason just started up. i have never been so sore in my life. i ran and stuff everyday and played soccer wit the brothers a couple times a week. all there is at the training ground is puke and blood. and all the seniors yell at the poor underclassmen.

My mile is 6:23, which is crap for a runner, but good for a non-runner. By the way, I am a non-runner.

That beats some highschoolers' 11 minute miles. I mean seriously, are you taking a 2 minute break after every quarter mile? People run twice as fast as that!

Lol @ yoga...now romanigypsyeyes I just know that has to correlate with the plums...

I forgot about the plums... and don't knock yoga until you actually try it. I've found it's better to do yoga for a half hour than run a mile. I hate running.

yeah i know i'm slow... =(

I mean, I once tried my best, and I got 7:00, but I can't go any faster. It's not that I'm unathletic, but running is just not my forte. I avoid it at all costs (walking the mile, ****ing the PE teacher off). My average seems to be a consistent 8:00~8:45. Not horrendously slow, but pretty close. lol

my fastest mile ever was 8:13..but if i really try and get in better shape, i'm sure i could improve my time

my best mile was mid 6;s. my gym teacher was some crazy irish pothead though.

how do you do yoga without the videos? what exactly do you do? i would like to try it out..i've also wanted to try pilates

^ You can look up moves off line?

YAY, PLUMS!!!

my best mile was a 7:29, which I achieved from constant running that I did to lose weight. I often jog for 3 miles straight without stopping.

Pilates I needed a tape for... but just look at yoga websites for ideas. They can teach you which poses to do for different things... It really is amazing (for those of you who scoff :p). PM me if you'd like.

^ that is the dorkiest thing you have ever posted. Basically: "PM me and I will send you some radical yoga moves" LOL

lmao...plum and yoga session in Antarctica anyone?

All the way man!

Psh. I'm the dork? You ran away to Antarctica because you were afraid of a little plum.

Do you sincerely realize the grave problems of a plum and the possible havoc it could just...?!!

I bought a ticket to New Zealand as well but then I was late by 1 hour and the people there were like, "sorry, there goes your money..."

It is better than sending yoga tips via CC!

Plum lol. Every time I see that word used here, I keep thinking "lol, purple fruit."

So when I saw romanigypsyeyes's post, I thought of rmadden running away from a little purple fruit with teeth.

It is okay Invoyable. All the better, the plum virus hit New Zealand hard. They had to burn all those suspected for haveing the infectioned. The island is now deserted.

^ I would bit it back if I would not be at risk of...the disease.
