You’re going to get a lot more info looking at wrestling specific sources. For example a quick googling leads me to the website intermat which lists the top 25 tournament and dual meet schools for this past year - Cornell was top 10 for both, Princeton was top 25 for tourney. No other ivies mentioned.
They aren’t very good, but hey, at least Brown has a wrestling team – Dartmouth and Yale don’t even try.
The six Ivy wrestling teams compete in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association, a 16-team league consisting mostly of Ivy and Patriot League schools. The big dog in the EIWA is Cornell, which has won the last 10 or so EIWA championships. Lehigh is the most frequent runner-up. Cornell and Lehigh are usually good enough to be nationally ranked.
Brown is generally in the lower half of the EIWA team rankings, and in the lower half of the six Ivy teams specifically. They are not generally competitive at the national level.
They may not be especially competitive as a team, but I had a few friends among the team, and I will say that they’re a great group of guys with a very strong bond. Alumni frequently visit for meets, the whole team does community service at a local elementary school, etc.
