How's the diversity at dartmouth?

<p>How's the diversity at Darthmouth in terms of different ethinic groups, socio-economic groups, and rural v. city people?</p>

<p>I'm afraid that Dartmouth won't have many people with the same interests as me, which is basically someone from the "ghetto".</p>

<p>I chose dartmouth, in part, because there would be a variety of people and views...mainly views though. Although, there will not be the ethnic diversity you get at say Berkeley or Michigan, the population of dartmouth is more diverse than the population at large.</p>

<p>I live in a city where less than 20% of the population is caucasian. Most of the people are black, hispanic, and to a lesser extent, asian. </p>

<p>I'm worried that I won't feel comfortable at Dartmouth because of the lack of differences.</p>
