How's the general studies in chapman?

like math, science, social studies in chapman. cuz i only know that they're really good in the areas of media and performing arts

Their pre-law is supposed to be really good. I’m not so sure about anything else

The law school dean is crazy. He thinks Bush is the most law abiding Pres in history.

Hahaha are you serious?? I’m a little scared now…

We took a tour last week. From the “looks” of it, I would think that the pre-law (yes, I would suspect that the school slants right-ish; John Yoo is there as visiting prof - think “unitary executive power” and torture memos; however, there are other, balancing forces on faculty). Also, I thought that the business school seemed more substantial than I would have suspected. There appears to be an entrepreneurial program, and maybe a real estate related curriculum. It looks like Businessweek ranked the program in Top 50 (at 46, coming out of nowhere). In social sciences I would think that the econ program is stellar - there’s a new prof, Nobel prize winner from George Mason, who has started his own program in experimental econ. The tourguide also mentioned the new performing arts - music program, which was invited to Beijing, but declined due to logistical problems or something. There’s a lot of good, interesting things happening there, I believe.
