How's the parking? Is it very crowded?

<p>I'm starting my first semester as a transfer student from next week. (I'm taking a summer session)
I'm transferring from Santa Monica College, and a bit paranoia about college parking lots as I usually had be in school around 7:30 in the morning no matter what schedules of my classes just for the sake of getting a parking space in SMC. </p>

<p>I got a lot#2 permit, and I visited yesterday around at noon. Holy, it was packed! I barely got a spot in sixth floor, and now I'm paranoia about UCLA parking lot again and want to ask folks here if parking is always like that "packed". </p>

<p>It's summer session, and I assume that it wouldn't be as bad as other regular terms, but will it be very crowded always? Should I just come earlier always to secure the safe spot? My class starts 11:00am. </p>

<p>If u get lot 7, which i did it’s always open with spots even at 1pm. if u come late u just have to park on the 2nd floor which means en extra 1-2 min in climbing stairs up to the first floor. </p>
