How's the piano performance at IU-Bloomington?

Hi, everyone

I'm an international student and I'm planning to take a double-degree program combined BM performance and Finance/Economics. I'm just accepted to Jacobs School of Music in Indiana University with a good scholarship. I know IU has a wonderful business program, but what about their piano performance for undergraduate student? It seems that the piano faculties there are really really amazing. But is it possible to take the studio class with them? And why didn't I hear its reputation very much from the piano department like Eastman, Julliard and Curtis? I'm just wondering the level its on so Plz give me some advices!

Indiana has a highly regarded music school. I think you don't hear as much about it because it is in the midwest - an area a lot of folks tend to overlook. They have a fine piano department although I don't know much about the individual teachers there. I think that you will find it very time consuming to try and do a BM in performance as well as a BA in finance, but it can be done with a lot of determination.
