i love the school but i dont wanna be at a place where its a complete bore. any students past or present(preferably) or even parents could give me some info on the drinking/partying would be great. also how were your dorms frosh year? and well any personal info in the school would be greatly appreciated.

Hi raincity- I will try to answer some of your questions, but advise you to visit the campus on a weekend, and to fully explore your questions with current students. You can also check out the events campus calendar online to see what is scheduled.

My D is a junior- and, from my perspective, if you want to find drinking/ parties you will, but my impression is that it is not happening much during the week. Parties are off campus in houses for the most part-the school has been very responsible about curbing drinking in the newer "drug free dorm" and some students were reprimanded for breaking some rules earlier this year.

My D's freshman year, the Pres of the School sent a letter to parents addressing how many (15 or more) students had been taken to area hospitals for alcohol poisoning.

So if you are looking for an intense drinking scene, not sure Muhlenberg is the place.

If you are into theatre arts, you will not be bored- there is a large, active community- tight knit, too.

So boredom- should be explored at such a small school, and spending some time on campus, talking to the students should help you know if it is a "fit' for you.

thanks, actually ive visited twice and loved it but im going premed which is also popular there as well

two visits- excellent Raincity- you are doing your homework :)
As pre-med you will have a challenging workload, and perhaps you can find some clubs to keep boredom at bay!
