Phy sci 107
Physics 6b
Math 32A

We can’t help you unless you give us some professor names, which I don’t think are out yet.

If you’re a freshman, then doing 3 classes (like what you’ve got now) is a good idea, so it seems like you’re on the right track.

But those are all difficult classes (if im not mistaken)… shouldn’t we take at least one easy class like English or something just to get used to the first quarter of college?

I am not an incoming freshman. haha phy sci 107 can only be taken after ochem, the LS series, a quarter of physics, anc calculus.

How is this schedule for an incoming freshman?

Math 31b
Econ 2
Econ 41

or

Math 31b
Econ 41
Life Science with lab GE

I heard there is only one professor for econ 2 and he is really bad. I am considering taking econ 2 over summer at CCC since it’s a prereq for bizecon. But I am worried that I would not have a solid background on econ when I take higher level econ classes and econ 11 in the winter quarter. Which schedule should I do? I want to limit myself to 12-14 units in the fall.

yea econ 2 with hou is just wut his name sounds like: a HOE…the idiot spends the entire time talks about how incompetent the UCLA students are compared to his CS Long Beach or CSUN students or wherever the hell he teaches…and his wife

econ 41 with brown is worse. be prepared to be thrown off course COMPLETELY. i REALLY do not suggest for you to take econ 41 during ur first quarter at UCLA. if anything, i would take econ 2 over econ 41 my first quarter. and i thought they dont let you sign up for major courses in ur first quarter?

I would highly suggest taking some GEs and some easy GEs as well as maybe one major course. You’ve got 12 quarters to get all this done so there is no sense in taking 3 hard major courses your first quarter. Try to print out your GE requirements and pick one of those, something random and a major course. Then second quarter you will be better prepared to tackle the tougher classes or maybe take 4 classes.

Inquiringmind2, I will have all my GEs done except a lab life science course and a history course once I enter UCLA. I just need to take 2 GEs.

but I have to take econ 41 anyways right? I mean I could take econ2 somewhere else, but econ41 is only offered at UCLA. I might as well take it during my first quarter since I need to take the below classes in winter quarter.

MGMT 1A
Econ 11
Korean 50 (I really really want to take this class for my history GE)
MGMT class with no prereqs

I think it will be harder for me to take econ41 along with econ 11.
