Hey guys! I was recently notified that I was selected to interview at the Feinberg School of Medicine for the HPME program at Northwestern. This is like a dream come true lmao! However I have a couple of questions. Does this mean I am guaranteed admission to northwestern undergrad? Also if anyone knows any stats on how many applicants there are, how many are interviewed, and how many are accepted that would be great!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH and I’d love to answer any questions you guys may have!??
Congratulations!!
Can you tell me when you received your invitation and was it by email?
has anybody elese received interview notifications? wonder if they are done selecting the candidates for interviews or still in the process.
I think they still be sending out interviews notifications for the next two weeks.
Just got invite today
When are the last few times they will be asking people to come interview?
I remember HPME made it very clear that their admissions process is separate from the normal undergraduate admissions process
congrats to those who recived the invites, would any of you be willing to share what your stats were that earned you the invite?
I got my interview on the 23rd and my interview is next week. Anyone know what guys are supposed to wear? Idk if suits seem too formal for a high school senior. I was thinking about wearing a button down with a tie, but online says people typically wear suits to medical school interviews.
Remember stats aren’t everything. I have a 36 and 800s on math, chem, and bio. However, I didn’t get an interview for PPSP or Pitt. PLME’s average act is a 34, so don’t worry too much.
@“goodluck123&” Congrats - You received an invite on a Sunday?
they prob invited u for ur humility my dude xD goteem
Quick Question to those who did get an invite to Northwestern’s HPME program. The first round of reciving an application is stats according to their website. If I had a 3.93 GPA, with an uniweighted of a 4.61, 11 APS, and a perfect score on both the ACT and the SAT Chem and Math subject tests, would I not recieve an application due to the sole fact I do not have a 4.0 unweighted GPA?
Do not worry about 3.93 unweighted GPA too much. It is a long process for bsmd and nothing is predictable. On second thought, you are not applying in the current cycle as a Junior ( currently a Sophomore).
