HPME Question

I would really love to apply to the HPME program, but I haven't taken the SAT II Chemistry test, and do not have time to sign up for the December date. I got a 5 on the AP test last year, though. Could this possibly replace the SAT II that I'm unable to take or am I ineligible?

Call and ask the admissions office.

I sent in an application request card. In bold it says there are no substitutes for the SAT Chemistry/Math II subject tests.

Does anyone know what type of HPME pre-apps actually get sent the full application? What kind of stats are they wanting? I have a 3.98 UW GPA, 2230 SAT I, 780 Chem & 710 Math II (SAT II); and all 5s on my APs thusfar (5 including Chem). Do I stand a chance?

You should be able to get the application.

SAT Averages:
CR 752
M 781
W 758
Chem 763
Math II 779
