Wow, how many programs are you applying to? 5? Prepping for college apps? Lol, I'm not a specialist at HSHSP so this post is sort of pointless.

I'm not sure if HSHSP will look at awards/ecs (unless you integrate them into your essays or something). And, there was already a thread on this forum before about HSHSP.

OMG so is anyone going ???????? :D:D:D

Has anyone else heard back from hshsp yet?

when do decisions for the rest of us come out?

I just decided yesterday to go. Sort of torn, since my friend from London is coming back over the summer and I'll miss him almost entirely, but I dont want to regret passing on this opportunity.

That said, if HSHSP started just one day later my friends and I could have gone to a Pearl Jam concert. Such bad luck :(

This may be obvious given my above post, but yeah, I have.

Also, based on Narcissa's first post, it's a miracle and a half that I got in with people like her applying.

oh, reading list:
lots, I read like 10+ out of school and 15ish in school. I wrote my paragraph about Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried. It's an incredible book. Read it. Please.

Really? I just told the truth and put what I had read outside of school o_O Maybe I should not have done that?

oh, I didn't mean to imply that I was dishonest with my book list. I just read a lot of books this year. I made sure to make it clear which were in-school and which were independent, since I thought thats what I read we were supposed to do on the sheet.

^yeah it was. my book had like 30 books on it; i've truly read all of them tho!

And do you have a facebook? Let's have a pre-HSHSP party!!!

sounds like fun

yeah, my facebook is Drew Gleeman (I'm the only one I think), and / or AIM is dgleeman2

Yeah, I read all of the ones on my list, too. Except I sort of skimmed Great Expectations because it was really, really boring.

haha I read Great Expectations twice

it was cute and cruel

I don't think I rememberd to put it on my list tho, my list was mainly mathy books

should i make a fb group!! i made one JOIN GUYS

I hope you're the person I just friended on facebook. And if so, 124 wpm is really impressive.

classic rock, physics, logic problems, chess, running (not distance though), the office, arrested development, fight club, and videogames.

yep that's me!
