Huge financial aid question

I just found out my fafsa got rejected because my parent's forgot to sign with parent's signature. It is already passed the deadline and I'm wondering if i lost out on alot of money because of it.

do you mean the electronic PIN signature ? you and your parents had to have sign it in order to submit the FAFSA application.

it also depend whether you would have met the criteria to receive aid anyways…

Get it done as soon as possible. But no, you’re not screwed or anything. This sort of stuff does happen more often than you’d think and I doubt you’d get less financial aid. The only thing is you’ll probably just find out later what your award is than everyone else.

Yeah I just did the fafsa and sent it in. Did it by pin and yeah i meet the criteria because I did it last year and got money. I just hope i don’t lose out on alot of money such as cal grant and stuff. Which means i’m going to have to pull out alot of loans

well, I don’t want to sound too much like a downer, but don’t rely on those Cal Grants until after the state budget get approved in June…
