my school might screw me over. argh

they screwed up with transcripts. so many's students transcripts weren't sent(including mines) so a lot of parents and kids were mad, especially since they did not tell anyone.i had to resend mines yesterday and not sure if it will get there on time or even if they actually sent it T_T

Notify FSU

will they give me an extension or something!?

Do you know how your school is sending your transcript? Fedx, regular mail, ect? If you could at least find that out it might give you some piece of mind. Either way, if they sent them today, there's still a good chance of them getting there in time (assuming you live in florida.)
And I second you/your counselor contacting FSU and explaining the situation. It could only help.

Call FSU Admissions and discuss it with them. Keep them informed. Let them know you are interested. It could help later on.

Take a deep breath. Now breathe out slowly. It is only the 4th, you have until the 10th. It is coming from Florida, correct? Just call tomorrow, ask to speak with an admissions rep, and explain calmly that YOU have done everything humanly possible, that you requested a transcript weeks prior, and only yesterday you learned that your transcipt and other students' transcripts only left school on the 4th.

Let them know FSU is your first choice, perhaps your only "real" choice, and show your concern. Don't get upset or panicky. Just call with genuine concern. THen you know you did all you can do. Perhaps you can call from the school office or the guidance office. If not, call immediately after school if you can't use a school phone or a cell phone.

obviously you are having enormous difficulty getting your school to send your transcript to FSU. With the first FSU deadline next wednesday and monday being columbus day, this really gives you 3-4 days to get the transcript in. I would recommend calling the FSU admissions department and explain your situation. I would also get a copy of your transcript and fax it to FSU on friday. They will view this as an "unofficial transcript" but atleast they will have something. You also really need to follow up with your schools registrar or guidance counselor, or whoever is responsible for sending out the transcript and get verification that this has been done. don't wait until next week to do this. do it tomorrow, if you can. You have an advantage being in state. I think your high school may be able to transmit the transcript electronically, but I am not sure. we are oos, so we had to have our son's school mail it out.
